EAFS 2013 was Amazing

The 2013 EAFS ran events, workshops, talks, and temporary art installations across Dumfries & Galloway drawing on existing commissioned work and ongoing environmental and ecological art projects. We had three major commissions linked to locations and, in each place, we had an interesting cluster of related events, talks, workshops and installations. These ranged from a ground breaking film installation by John Wallace underneath the border at Gretna about the river Sark’s ecosystem services, to sound and light installations in the Galloway Dark Sky Park and many interesting and visually stunning artworks in between. We wanted to celebrate Dumfries & Galloway’s potential to be “Scotland’s home of Environmental Art”.
